Money Saving Tips + FREE DOWNLOAD!

Money Saving Tips + FREE DOWNLOAD!

We've all been strapped for cash at some point and while I still haven't tackled my impulse buying problems I have found a few ways to save a few pounds.

Shop Loyalty Cards

Woop for the time I didn't have to spend any money to get suncream! Loyalty cards are brilliant whether they give you discounts or you collect points, they're always worth it. My favourites are Superdrug, Boots and Showcase cinemas.

Savings Account

I got one of these a few months ago and it's been really useful. I used to try and say that so much of my account was money I was saving but it never worked I'd just spend it. My account is with the co-op and it's great as I can put money into it easily but I can't spend money from it directly. I highly recommend getting one not only do I have actual savings now but I actually like putting money in it to see the number go up.

Surveys

I freaking love survey sites! I have made about £50 so far plus I've got loads of vouchers for amazon; I once bought about 4 DVDs and only spent £1.50 ish. All you have to do is complete surveys for various companies to collect points which you can exchange for vouchers or money. My favourite is Opinion Outpost but Valued opinions and Your Word are good too.

Budgeting

It sounds boring but it's brilliant. Since I got my savings account I wanted a way to be able to see what was going on with my money so that I could decide on how much to save each month and know when to not splurge on something. I created an excel sheet which helps me plan and keep track. I've found it really useful so I made a downloadable one for you!

How do you save money? What's worked for you? Let me know in the comments.

I hope you enjoyed this post and thanks for reading.
